Dealing with Depression
What causes depression?

No one knows exactly what causes depression. Stressful events could lead to depression, such as a serious loss or financial problems. Depression is thought to even run in a family.

Hormonal changes during pregnancy or menopause could cause depression. People who have been diagnosed with cancer or those who have had a stroke can suffer from depression.
