IEHP is a FOR-YOU organization
and not-for-profit.
IEHP is a not-for-profit organization and a public entity. There are no stockholders expecting a "return-on-investment." You - as a resident of Riverside County or San Bernardino County - are the one we serve.
That's why our total focus is to deliver the health care you need and to solve your health care problems. Here are some of the many ways IEHP can make a healthier, happier you.
You are never very far from the health care you need.
IEHP Members have access to over 1700 private practice Doctors and Specialists, 27 regional hospitals throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties, more than 250 Vision Providers for eye exams and eyeglasses, and over 430 Pharmacies.
For your convenience, you may choose a Doctor close to home, a local hospital and a neighborhood pharmacy to fill your prescriptions.
Day or night, you can always talk to a Nurse
If you or your children get sick when your Doctor's Office is closed, IEHP has a no-cost After-Hours Nurse Advice Line at 1-888-244-IEHP (4347)/TTY 1-888-880-0833. From the safety of your home, you can talk to a Nurse about your medical needs (when they happen) on weekends, holidays or after regular Doctor office hours.
IEHP will always help you.
No "ifs." No "ands." No "buts." A bilingual Member Services Representative - NOT A RECORDING - will answer your call and help you with your problem.
Whatever it may be...

Keep your children HEALTHY
Parents today have a tough, complicated job keeping their children healthy and safe. It's good to know IEHP is there for you before your baby is born until your child reaches adulthood.
Here are a few examples:
"Healthy Babies" gets your baby off to a good start: IEHP's Healthy Babies Program helps you from the time you first learn you are having a baby through delivery. Expectant mothers appreciate all the support and current information they get about what to do before and in the critical first few months after the baby is born. We also present you with a gift for your new baby.
Vitamins help your baby grow healthy and strong: Babies and young children need vitamins to get a good start in life. IEHP covers the cost of vitamins through the age of 5 for your child. Vitamins at an early age give a big boost to your child's future health and growth potential.
An "Owners Manual" on how to grow a healthy child: IEHP's Healthy Child Handbook is a lot like the Owner's Manual for a new car. It tells you how to "maintain" your child in top condition, when to see the Doctor for routine "check ups," and how to "trouble-shoot" minor ailments.
Keep your children SAFE
NO-COST Car Seat for your baby: Cars are dangerous places for babies. After a class to show you how to correctly install a car seat, IEHP will give you a convertible car seat at no cost for each newborn child up to age 1.
NO-COST Bicycle Helmet protects your child from head injuries: IEHP Members age 5-14 can read (with an adult) our Rad Rider - Safety Cycler bicycle safety pamphlet, complete a short quiz, and get a cool Rad Rider helmet.
