The Healthy Families Program is low-cost insurance that provides health (include mental health services), dental, and vision coverage to children up to their 19th birthday, who do not have health insurance
and do not qualify for no-cost Medi-Cal.
The program is funded by the federal and state governments, and is administered by California's Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board (MRMIB).
