Eric Haden joined IEHP in October 2004. In his position as Chief Network Officer, Mr. Haden oversees Provider Relations, Compliance, and Contracting.
Mr. Haden came to IEHP with an extensive background in both health plan and IPA administration, with strong experience in the Medicaid as well as non-government arenas. His own company, Haden Healthcare Consulting, specialized in all facets of managed care operations from physician offices to health plans. Services included business development, provider and health plan contract negotiations, compliance analysis, revenue cycle evaluation and improvement, risk pool and claims auditing and analysis.
Prior to that, Mr. Haden had over 12 years of healthcare experience. As administrator for OmniCare Medical Group IPA, Inc., he was responsible for coordinating all financial, operational and strategic planning, and for network development. For Universal Care of Tennessee, Inc., he served as Associate Vice President of Provider Contracting and Network Services, overseeing the provider contracting, provider services, and contract analysis/administration departments. Having previously worked for Universal Care of California, Mr. Haden worked with a project team to integrate California processes with those of Tennessee to begin operations of Universal Care in Tennessee. As Director of Provider Contracting at Universal Care of California, Inc., Mr. Haden oversaw network development for Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Mr. Haden received his Bachelors degree in Health Care Administration at California State Long Beach.
