It’s good to know that your child can get the care he needs!
If your child is enrolled in California Children Services (CCS), your child will get specialized medical care!
Your child will get treatment from the specialized network of CCS doctors and/or CCS approved specialty centers. They are highly trained to treat your child.
How do you get both CCS benefits and IEHP Services?
Call your doctor to get:
• A specialist for your child's CCS condition.
• Medical Therapy Program (MTP) for physical
and/or occupational therapy.
• Medical equipment like wheelchairs, walkers and leg braces.
• Medicine for your child's special medical condition.
You Call Your IEHP Doctor for:
• Minor cuts.
• Common sicknesses like fever and colds.
• Immunizations.
• Regular doctor appointments.
• Anything that is not part of your CCS condition.
When you can't reach your CCS Coordinator,
IEHP may be able to help.We can work with the
CCS doctors and programs to coordinate your
child's care.
