Charting Bus Stops and Routes to Your Doctor's Office

IEHP contracts with a key disability organization to map out bus stops and verify routes that will get Members within blocks of their Doctor’s office. 

Bus Stop/Route Guide

IEHP produces a semi-annual Provider Directory that steers Members toward the closest bus stops and best route to doctors’ offices. We contract with Blindness Support Services (BSS) to:

●Verify addresses for all new IEHP Providers as well as any that relocate

●Locate bus stops within blocks of each Doctor’s office and the nearest intersection

●Identify routes and transit providers (RTA, Sun Bus Line, Omnitrans, Victor Valley Transit)

●BSS dedicates its efforts to providing innovative approaches to achieving independence and self-reliance for people who are blind or have low vision.  

●Located in Riverside, BSS serves five counties in Southern California including the Inland Empire.
