Providing quality health care requires listening to our Members and letting their wisdom guide our services.  That’s why IEHP’s Members with Disabilities Workgroup serves as one of our most important collaborations.

Members with Disabilities Workgroup

The Members with Disabilities Workgroup provides feedback on:

● Experiences receiving medical care

● Educational materials for Doctors and Members

● Ways to improve IEHP benefits and services

Comprising 30 Members with disabilities, the workgroup meets quarterly to make recommendations on:

● Health care services

● Educational priorities

● Communication needs

● Access to services

“Our goal is to ensure that people with disabilities have a voice in IEHP,” explains Richard Bruno, IEHP’s Chief Executive Officer. “The Members with Disabilities Workgroup focuses on improving communication and outreach and ultimately increasing quality health outcomes for IEHP Members with disabilities.”
